Yoga every day – in the park, by the sea and in the shala

Unlimited yoga for 9 weeks. Choose for yourself whether you want to meet the sunrise at Skeppsbron, flow in the park or wind down with sunset restorative in the evening.

Ayurveda by the waterfront – 8 evenings by the water

Deepen your knowledge of Ayurvedic wisdom with lectures right at Skeppsbron. Lectures cost 120 SEK, but are free for summer card holders.

Slow Summer Sundays – yoga, brunch and conversation

Sundays for truly slowing down. Yoga followed by brunch and inspiring conversation – the best way to round off the week. Pay 120 SEK instead of 150 SEK all summer long.

Workshops & day retreats on Saturdays

On select Saturdays throughout the summer we offer workshops and day retreats at Skeppsbron. As a card holder you always receive a 15% discount on these occasions.

About Yoga in the park

Every Tuesday and Thursday at 09:00 you'll find us outside Slottsträdgårdens Kafé in Slottsparken in Malmö. All classes are free and open to everyone – beginners and experienced alike. Yoga in the park is a collaboration with Slottsträdgårdens Kafé and Vero Veda.

Start your mornings on the mat by the sea or in Slottsparken, deepen your Ayurvedic practice by the waterfront and close out your Sundays with brunch and community. The same community, week after week.

Lectures by the water — for those who want to deepen their knowledge

Eight times throughout the summer we gather at the quayside at Skeppsbron for conversations about Ayurveda. No heavy theory — just concrete, relatable knowledge about the body and everyday life.

The Format

Bring a blanket, folding chair or cushion to sit on. You're also welcome to bring a snack or picnic. In poor weather we move inside the centre. Lectures cost 120 SEK per session and are open to everyone.

For members and summer yoga card holders all 8 sessions are included at no extra cost. You can also use your yoga class card. One credit = one lecture.

An introduction for those new to Ayurveda, covering the elements (doshas) and their qualities. We explore how these qualities shape us as individuals — both physically and mentally. 

Your digestion is greatly influenced by your constitution — vata, pitta, kapha — and here we will understand the connection and what you can do to strengthen your digestion, as well as the various things that throw agni (digestion) out of balance. 

Dinacharya is about simple daily habits that help the body feel good and find balance. The right thing at the right time. Through small adjustments to your routines you can create more energy, calm and wellbeing in everyday life. 

Ritucharya is about living in tune with the changing seasons and adapting your habits accordingly. By following nature's rhythm you can more easily create balance, strengthen the body and feel good all year round.

The nervous system is strongly affected by pace, stress and sensory input — something Ayurveda connects to vata. By understanding what triggers imbalance and creating calming routines around diet, rest and meditation, you can support recovery and find more stability in everyday life. 

Emotions affect not just the mind but the body too — something Ayurveda explains through the doshas. By understanding how anxiety (vata), anger (pitta) and heaviness (kapha) express themselves in the body, you can more easily meet your emotions and create greater balance from within. 

Detox and fresh starts are about letting go of what weighs you down — physically and mentally. In Ayurveda this is called ama, and through simple changes in diet and habits you can help the body cleanse and return to a sense of lightness and clarity.

Yoga is so much more than movement — it is a way of landing in the body through presence, breath and stillness. The sister sciences of Ayurveda and yoga are made for each other, and introducing yoga as a daily practice carries an endless number of health benefits.

As a card holder you have access to all classes in the schedule. Yoga in the park (Slottsparken) is open to everyone and does not need to be booked in advance.

Yes — yoga qualifies for wellness allowance (friskvårdsbidrag). Get in touch with us to receive a full receipt after your purchase in Stripe.

In bad weather we move from Skeppskajen into the shala. Cancelled classes are communicated via our Instagram channel (@ayurvediskcenter). Feel free to follow us there to stay updated. Yoga in the park is cancelled in bad weather.

No, we do not lend out our mats for outdoor use. Please bring your own mat to both Skeppskajen and the park.

No, you do not need to sign up for Yoga in the park. Just bring your yoga mat and show up.
