Light your inner Fire – A workshop in Yoga & Ayurveda for a Balanced Summer

June 27 @ 12:00 – 14:10

”In this lovely Pitta season…” Summer is our most beloved season, filled with light, bathing, and time outdoors. According to Ayurveda, this is ”Pitta season,” a period when primarily the element of fire predominates. But just as fire can be both calming and warming, it can also take over, burn, and lead to drought.

High temperatures, broken routines, social pressure and all the expectations of summer make the inner fire easily flare up. When Pitta gets out of balance, we easily lose our coolness – both in the body and in the mind. What Ayurveda teaches us is that health is about living in harmony with nature and that opposites create balance.

Let yourself be inspired by the timeless wisdom of Ayurveda and Yoga about how the nature outside us and our inner selves – body and mind – are interconnected. During this workshop you will learn the three golden keys of Ayurveda to balance and cool down your Pitta – so that you can truly enjoy the summer. You will also be guided through a cooling Yoga (Hatha/Yin), soothing Pranayama (Breathing) and foundational Dharana/Dhyana (Concentration/Meditation).

Welcome to a unique opportunity to pause, cool down your system, and find your inner balance amidst the flow of summer. Give yourself the gift of grounding in your body and facing the rest of the summer with renewed energy and a calm mind.
