Dinacharya & Sankalpa Meditation Workshop

Join Clarissa and Kimiko for a blissful Friday evening on January 27, 2023, for the Dinacharya and Sankalpa Meditation Workshop. Dinacharya is the ayurvedic daily routine. Sankalpa is the yogic new year’s resolution. They share an ancient wisdom. It is a perfect way to start 2023 with a healthier and more meaningful life.

 17-18 Dinarchaya
The Ayurvedic Daily Routines are called Dinacharya in Sanskrit (“Din” = day, “Charya” = habit). They consist of a ritual repeated everyday to achieve balance, health, peace of mind, and a happy long life. The new year is the best opportunity for a fresh start, the perfect moment to introduce new practices to your routine. In this lecture, you will be presented with every step of the Dinacharya, with an orientation about the possible adaptations to modern life in Sweden.

18-18:15 Break

18:15-19:30 Sankalpa Meditation

Sankalpa, a seed of intention, is an introspective and spiritual practice. The word Sankalpa in Sanskrit consists of two words; "San" means connection with the purest form or the highest truth and "Kalpa" means intention, will, and resolve. Sankalpa is your deepest yearning. It does not come from a critical-thinking mind, but arises in stillness and silence. The practice aids you in tapping into the true essence of who you are and living your life as you are meant to live. In the workshop, you are guided to practice breathing exercises, slow-paced pre-meditative asana flow, mudra, yantra, meditation to discover Sankalpa, and re-grounding practice to embed it deeply into your being.
